Edition 2.0 · 23 October 2026 · Educational/public explanatory documentation · No public investment offering or approval claimed

Facilitator readiness and safety

  1. Confirm a responsible host, approved safeguarding lead, ratios and screening under applicable policy.
  2. Preflight 12 learner stations plus two spares, offline projects and recovery tools.
  3. Check room exits, labelled power cables, accessible inputs, quiet space and low-voltage kits.
  4. Prepare START / BUILD / EXPLORE challenge cards for the assigned age level.
  5. Read consent and media restrictions: no personal child data in project files or public platforms.
  6. Provide a brief demonstration, followed by hands-on making for at least two-thirds of time.
  7. End with the learner testing, saving a version and privately reflecting.
  8. Record incidents and attendance in host-controlled storage only.

Incident and consent boundaries

Never publish attendee names, photos, attendance reports or evaluations in the public BTG library. Handle conduct, injury, unsafe hardware, cyber incidents and privacy complaints using host-approved escalation and retention procedures. The workshop companion app is proposed, not a verified deployed system; paper checklists remain a valid fallback.
